I think Hollywood Studios was possibly my favorite park at Disney. Because it seemed smaller, we didn't plan to spend a ton of time there. We were wrong on that part. Both times we were there, it was later in the day. It took us the second trip there to find the playground from Honey I shrunk the kids, and that was at 4:45 when it shut down at 5:00 pm. I wish we would have gotten more time there. Although, what we did spend time there, we loved! We discovered Toy Story Mania--a 3d shooting adventure. That was the busiest attraction, so we only rode it 2 times in our visit. Next was the Star Tours ride, a 3D adventure with friends from Star Wars. Both boys loved and it, and one was even scanned and named the 'Rebel Spy' which was the person we were protecting on the ship. We got our one autograph at Hollywood Studios. Most lines were so long, and the kids would rather ride rides, but when we saw Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates and a short line, we made an exception, since our youngest's current hero is Jake, so much so he writes Jake on his papers for school! He was overjoyed to meet him and his brother was excited that he got to meet him as well. We got to see the Indiana Jones and Car racing Stunt show. Even though it was before Thanksgiving that we went, they had all their lights up to, and there was an awesome light display synced to music. Very pretty and festive!
One thing I will say about Disney, is they know how to keep you entertained. While waiting over 2 hours in line for the Toy Story Mania, at every turn in the line they have something new to look at. They even had an animatronic Mr. Potato head telling jokes. It was fun to see props from the movie that made you feel like the size of a toy.
