We go to Leesburg Animal Park about once a year. It could be because the Great Zucchini is doing a show there, or we got a good deal on Certifikid. They have recently added a new indoor location with an art room and a HUGE Mcdonalds-esqe play structure. They also have some animals and have an interactive theatre where they do shows there. I am not going to chat much about all the other stuff...what I want to talk about is how much my baby has grown up! Not sure who reads this, and not sure who knows, but he has not taken well to animals. He runs when animals larger then a medium sized dog come up to him and try to sniff him to say hello. He starts to run, so they start to chase him and he just does not like it. So you could see that this would be a problem in the open feeding range of a petting zoo. He would never let the animals eat out of his cup, he would loosely hold it and it would fall out of his hands, and I think he would be relieved that he didn't have to do it anymore. Things seem to be changing in our world. The last time we went there, he went right in to the open range and fed the goats, who just about knock you over! He was even upset with the larger ones that bump the smaller ones out of the way and tried to make sure the smaller ones got some food to. Here are some pictures of that day.
